As a Public Interest Design Fellow at Tulane’s Albert and Tina Small Center for Collaborative Design I was a part of a team that created a visioning project for a local non-profit, the First 72+. They needed to renovate their office, which was is a shotgun house, to better serve their staff and clients. Through a series of meetings with the clients we came to understand the needs that were specific to their office and were able produce a set of drawings that they ultimately used to complete the renovations. This project is special to me because the First 72+ is a non-profit that helps individuals who have been incarcerated re-enter into society through case managment services.
